Death as part of Life incorporating other cultures to widen our collective perspective

Hear from UN refugees about colossal loss, loss of control, loss of life, family, community added to their unique cultural traditions in honoring death, the dying, and grief associated with war, genocide and persecution. Iskashitaa Refugee Network’s Exec. Director will walk us through 15 years of multi-faith learning and honoring of the dead and traditions of our newest citizens. From Muslim Afghan traditions, to Christian Chadian customs to Hindu Nepalese traditional ceremonial aspects.
